Did The Car Dealer Negligently Fail To Connect Airbags After Repairs? You May Have An Airbag Failure To Deploy Lawsuit.

Did the car dealer service your vehicle and forget to reconnect the airbag system?  Tragically, the Vehicle Safety Firm is handling a growing number of fatal car accident cases as well as car wrecks that resulted in catastrophic injury because the airbags failed to work.  In our fast paced, over worked workplace, technicians forget to plug together the airbag wires that control the system.  If you or a loved one believe you are the victim of such negligence, you may have an airbag failure to deploy lawsuit. Watch this video to learn more about how we can prove why an airbag did not deploy.

Hello, this is Todd Tracy from the Tracy Law firm in Dallas Texas, with another Todd Talk.

Today I want to talk with you about what to do in the event that your vehicle that you own or lease has been involved in a frontal impact and the airbags have not fired. When you take it to the dealership and you get the vehicle back, you need to verify that all of the safety components have been installed properly.

In this particular accident that we investigated here, we noticed that the front impact sensors were not connected properly, and when the vehicle was then involved in an accident several months later, neither airbag deployed because neither front airbag sensor was reconnected properly when the repairing dealership had to replace the front bumper, replace the front radiator grill, and replace all the components right there, which required them to remove the front airbag sensors. The dealerships that do work usually do an excellent job. However, sometimes there is carelessness, sometimes there is work that becomes shoddy, and when carelessness and shoddy work come into play in your accident that you have later on, then catastrophic injuries and death can occur because your airbags will not fire. Just like it didn’t happen in this accident.

If you, a family member, or friend have suffered a traumatic car accident injury or they were killed in an auto accident, there may be grounds for a product liability lawsuit against the car maker. The victim’s or family members of the deceased person may be entitled to significantly more money in damages than just a negligence case about the cause of the accident.

The Tracy Law Firm focuses on “Who Caused The Traumatic Car Accident Injuries or Death” — not who caused the accident.

Whether you were at fault or not in the cause of the accident, car companies are required by federal motor vehicle safety standards to make vehicles that will protect the driver and passengers from catastrophic injuries or death.
