Hello I’m Todd Tracy from the Tracy Law Firm in Dallas, Texas with another Todd Talk.
Over the past three years there’s been a lot of discussion on why Takata airbags are literally causing hot shrapnel to be fired upon people at 350 mph. Well, back in February of 2016, a root cause analysis by an independent research firm, finally determined that the cause of the thousands of disfiguring injuries and the ten plus deaths; were caused because the ammonium nitrate inside the airbag inflator device was getting moist; and there was not a drying agent available. And once the ammonium nitrate became moist, and as it deployed, it literally broke apart and blew apart the inflator; much like we see when a mortar goes off or an artillery shell, or an improvised explosive device like we see over in Iraq and Afghanistan during the war.

It creates a potentially deadly, but in much more frequent terms, it creates a disfiguring improvised explosive device that’s going to blow hot, molten shrapnel into your face, your head, your hands and your chest at 350 mph. I’m Todd Tracy and if you have one of these cases, you need to contact a lawyer that focuses on handling cases against the vehicle industry.

If you, a family member, or friend have suffered a traumatic car accident injury or they were killed in an auto accident, there may be grounds for a product liability lawsuit against the car maker. The victim’s or family members of the deceased person may be entitled to significantly more money in damages than just a negligence case about the cause of the accident.

The Tracy Law Firm focuses on “Who Caused The Traumatic Car Accident Injuries or Death” — not who caused the accident.

Whether you were at fault or not in the cause of the accident, car companies are required by federal motor vehicle safety standards to make vehicles that will protect the driver and passengers from catastrophic injuries or death.
